The Pros’ Inside Scoop on the Bassmaster
Classic
How will the best bass fishermen in the world compete
in the biggest bass-fishing tournament of the year,
the Bassmaster Classic – the World Series of bass
fishing? With $1/2-million in cash going to the winner
along with the prestige and the honor of being named
the best of the best, how will the anglers handle the
pressure, the crowd and the fishing conditions and still
catch bass?
At the 2009 Bassmaster Classic, held in Shreveport,
Louisiana, you can get up-close-and-personal with four
of the nation’s top anglers – Kevin
VanDam of Kalamazoo, MI, Greg Hackney of Gonzalez, LA,
Mark Davis of Mount Ida, AR, and Shaw Grigsby of Gainesville,
FL – and learn how they’re fishing the oldest
and the biggest bass tournament in the nation. Each
day, after these four pros come off the water, they’ll
be interviewed by media professionals. They’ll
tell you how and where they’ve fished, what tackle
they’ve used, and how they plan to fish the next
day. Each night, daily reports will be posted on the
Strike King web page at http://www.strikeking.com/bassmaster/,
beginning on February 20, 2009. You’ll be one
of the first to know how these fishermen have fished,
and how the Classic is progressing, as well as be able
to share in the anglers’ victories and frustrations.
Never before has anyone been able to receive daily information
this fast from a bass-fishing tournament. Too, you’ll
be able to see photos of the pros with their daily catches
before they go to the weigh-in. For the inside scoop
on the Bassmaster Classic from four of the nation’s
top pros before anyone else, read Strike King’s
“Daily Reports from the Bassmaster Classic”
on the company’s web page from February 20-22,
2009.
