OIL SPILL NOT AFFECTING CRAPPIE

Brad Whitehead - Side Pulling and Running for Crappie

EDITOR’S NOTE: Thousands and thousands of charter-boat fishermen are out of business because of the oil spill. Millions of recreational anglers who go to the Gulf of Mexico can’t fish in the Gulf because of the oil. But if you’re looking for great fish to catch and eat, the crappie is what the Good Lord has given us to solve this problem. To catch crappie this summer, we asked Brad Whitehead, a crappie guide on Pickwick Lake on the Tennessee/Mississippi/Alabama border, to give us tips to help find and catch more crappie this summer. Each day Whitehead will give us a new and better tactic to help catch fish, have fun and feed our families.
