Fishing the Chandeleur Islands - Day One

Without question one of the most fantastic fishing trips of my life was at the Chandeleur Islands out of Biloxi, Mississippi. 
 
Tons of speckled trout, plenty of red fish, good numbers of flounder and great fellowship make a Chandeleur Island trip the thing to do. I stayed at the Beau Rivage Resort. 

Now I know that the word resort sounds expensive but for less than $500 you get two nights in one of the nicest rooms I have ever stayed in at the casino. You get a quick trip to the islands on a fast boat, everything you need to fish with i including -- guides, boats, baits, rods, reels, fish cleaning and packing service and they will even develop your pictures and give you your prints to take home. 

You can fish any way you want to. Either from a flats boat or by wade fishing and even though the fishing is fun the catching is going to be more fun. Each day this week we will show you photos from the trip and give you tips for making your fishing trip more fun.
