Don't buy a bow that requires too much strength to pull back. Start shooting a bow that's about 30 pounds. As your muscles get stronger, move the bow weight up to 40 pounds and then to 50 pounds. A 45-pound bow or a 55-pound bow will take big game if you place the arrow properly. Don't try and get a bow that's too hard to shoot. I suggest the Browning Micromidas bow. You can start shooting this at a 35-pound weight and then move it up to a 45-pound weight, which is plenty of weight for hunting. This bow is also good for youngsters. It has a 5-inch-draw-length adjustment. The bow is small and lightweight and has a small grip that fits a woman's hand. |

I like the Browning Micromedallion A-bolt rifle in a 7-mm08 caliber. This is a whitetail deluxe cartridge. This rifle has a short stock and a short barrel and very little recoil. This gun comes in a wide variety of calibers, but I just like the 7-mm08 caliber best. You can write Brenda Valentine at P.O. Box 31, Buchanan, TN 38222 or email her at breval@wk.net |
