John's Journal... Entry 41, Day 5

Combo Boat Fishing

click to enlargeEDITOR'S NOTE: A couple of years ago I fished with Billy Blakely, a guide at Reelfoot Lake's Bluebank Resort in Tiptonville, Tenessee, and his roommate, Eric Ving, and learned about fishing with Yo-Yos for catfish.

You can tie two or three Yo-Yos on the side of your boat while you fish for bream, catfish, bass, crappie or walleye. You'll catch catfish while you fish for other species. Because the Yo-Yo doesn't need your constant attention, you can fish three or four Yo-Yos on one side of the boat for cats while fishing the other side of the boat for another species.
